Reviews: AIRAID Pre-Filter Wraps

I bought this Filter wrap to use on dusty roads and in the sand, I installed to make sure it fit, and just left it on for all driving conditions. No noticeable loss of power, and It will keep my airaid filter cleaner.

If you go off road as much as I do (at least four timer a week) this is a must have product it greatly improves the filtering process.

I bought this product when I found dirt inside of my recently installed cold air intake....I bought a thin cotton gauze filter. So, I bought the filter wrap and installed it and no more dirt!! The wrap doesn't cause a power decrease of change the sound of your truck in any way and pics up a TON of dirt (shook it after a camping/offroading trip and I found myself standing in a cloud of dust). The only problem I've encountered so far is that it'll melt if too close to any of the hot engine components. But considering that it's a plastic screen, that's to be expected. Bottom line is, if you're running a CAI/RAI and have a cotton gauze cone filter you should definitely pick one of these up. You won't regret it.

I drive in dusty conditions and this has helped reduce service intervals of the filter element. It also reduces the amount of water that gets splashed onto the filter.

Put it on my AFE Air Filter EZ to install. Looks GR8.

After ordering from the catalog and finding the part did not fit, made a phone call and the proper item was shipped in a timely matter. Product installed correctly.

Worked great over K&N filter for the Sand Dunes.
