Once you're ready to launch the boat - simply release the lever, un-hook, and press the red button again to retract the strap back into the ratchet and out of the way. These retractable tie-downs can be easily mounted to your trailer frame with our supplied hardware, making them essentially self-storing. Just retract the hooks back in to keep them out of the way, and you're all set. If you don't have a good spot to mount them, we offer an additional S-Hook Adapters so you can easily hook them to your trailer.
