Posi Quiet Brake Pads by Centric Parts are premium replacement pads for every application. They offer a host of benefits that provide you stopping power right out of the box. All Posi Quiet pads are scorched. This means no break-in is required. Posi Quiet brake pads provide quieter stops and superior stopping power. Plus, their friction formulas create less dust to keep your wheels cleaner. Posi Quiet pads are available in three specialized formulas suited for varied applications and driving styles (not all compounds are available for every application). The part number is the same, but the pre-fix changes. Choose between Semi-Metallic pads, Ceramic pads, and Extended Wear pads.

Posi Quiet friction formulas create less dust, keeping your wheels cleaner.

    All Posi Quiet brake pads are scorched to accelerate the break-in process. This OEM process enhances key friction performance levels. Scorching raises initial cold effectiveness, stabilizes friction levels right out of the box, and provides consistent performance across the entire operating range. During the scorching phase, each brake pad surface is super-heated to simulate the initial break-in process performed by installation technicians. This additional step removes any uncured bonding agents, eliminating the need for initial break-in and reducing noise caused by pad glazing. Scorching thermally conditions the pad material, which yields a more consistent and higher friction level right out of the box. By scorching every pad, the vehicle's owner benefits from a more complete bed-in of the new pads to the rotor, increasing the effective stopping power from the first stop.
