I installed those tires last year mainly looking for an aggressive all-terrain tire that could really take rough trails and forest roads. It did not disappoint at all and carried us through muddy, rocky and sandy trails without issues. What surprised us the most was that the X-AT is surprisingly quiet on the road for such a robust all-terrain tire. Often traveling a few thousand kms in between camping and offroad locations, the tires behaved very well and carried our family safely for more than a year now! Would 100% recommend if you are looking for a more serious all-terrain option that still is a likeable tire for daily driving. After about 15,000 km, tread life appears very good.

I bought these tires a while back, but today was the first time I was able to test them to my satisfaction. These handled very well in the 6" snow we recently received, and the road noise is perfect. They are quiet enough to enjoy, yet they have enough noise to know you have a meaty tire on your rig. Today we plowed through cake batter-style mud bogs and across some very sketchy rock formations. They handled beautifully across the rock, but when the clay-like mud packed into the tread I had little to no control where my rig was going. These tires also crown more than others leading me to run about 18 psi for even tread wear. If I get a good 40,000 miles from these tires, then I will absolutely consider purchasing them again.

Using tires on mixed gravel and pavement and the handling and wear has been good to date. Would definitely purchase them again.
