looks sharp
I had trouble installing a brand new registration plate. other than that, it is a nice cover. I'll see how well it holds up to New England weather.

Allows moisture inside
This cover would be great in a dry climate but in the PNW where I’m at it just fills up with condensation and makes my personalized license plate unreadable. I removed it after month or so of getting irritated every time I looked at it. I wish I had returned it right after I first noticed the moisture.

Q: Can it be installed without the clear cover so it's just a black frame? Answer this question
A: The ClearCover is a one-piece design. So, if you only wanted the frame portion of the license plate frame they would need to order the ClearFrame, and that part # is 63020. https://pwa.4wheelparts.com/p/weathertech-clearframe-brushed-stainless-steel-63020/_/R-BHTJ-63020
