4.0 Performs as promised & easy to install

When you have lifted your Jeep or gone to a larger tire, this product allows you to mount a matching larger spare tire to the rear of your Jeep while still utilizing your stock rim.

4.0 Warrior Mount solders the weight

When I changed out my old tires for new BFGoodrich Allterrains, I discovered my old spare was the wrong size. Good think I hadn't needed it yet. Went to shove one of the old Wildcats on instead but found I couldn't open my tailgate enough to get the back hatch open. Back into the store and picked up this mount extender. Instalation was simple and did it out in the parking lot. The only thing was, a ratchet won't fit. Have to have a wrench on hand. Took about 10 minutes to unbolt the old tire, add the extention and bolt down the tire again. In a month of daily driving I haven't seen any torqueing on my tailgate or excessive movement over bumps. The door opens and closes easily and my view through the rear view mirror is not obscured. Also, the over the tire brake light is still visible. It does what it is suposed to do very well.

2.0 Look elsewhere

This was way overpriced for the quality you get. I only bought it because it was in stock at the local store and i didn't want to wait on ordering another products. It looks sturdy, but the thing will start wiggling around if the wind blows too hard. I would only recommend this as a very temporary solution.

Q: So this is all you need for a spare tire? Nothing more is needed? Answer this question

A: Coty- thanks for the question. This Warrior Spare Tire Spacer is just the spacer to be able to run a larger tire on an existing spare tire carrier.
