Bought a Smittybilt winch for a non Smittybilt bumper. Neither winch nor bumper had a spot to attach the fairlead. This was the perfect solution with a factory quality fit. Even came with longer bolts. If you buy Smittybilt winch with a non Smittybilt bumper this plate is a must have.

The winch plate bolted right up how it was supposed to. The only problem I had was that it wasn't 100% compatible with the heavy duty steering gear box that I have installed. That's ok though, I got it to work just fine.

of to the frame. He said I couldn't return it so I welded it on
Will the smittybuit winches fit this mount? Also what is the difference in this one and the one that is 110$? Thanks

Thanks for the inquiry Ash, the Warn M8274-50 Winch Mounting Kit part # WAR11310 you'll need part # WAR13910 because most smittybilt winches are a medium size winch.

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
