A: Yes the first thing I did was replace the steel cable with synthetic rope. I just had to make sure to install it correctly by keeping tension on the rope while reeling it in. Also the rope can't be in direct sunlight because the UV light can break down the rope.

A: Steel cable comes with roller fairlead, synthetic rope comes with Hawse.  Unsure about that brand of bumper. 

A: It is a roller fairlead. Yes it would fit on that bumper as long as it has a winch mount integrated or you purchase a winch mount for the bumper if it doesn't come with one.

A: Yes it can and should be mounted feet forward, just as it shows in the picture. The level will still be accessible on all ARB bumpers. The control packs can be relocated for low-profile installations.
