Q: Is there a Warn cradle for this winch that mates with a 2” tow hitch? Answer this question
A: 2" hitches are only rated to 10,000 lbs at most. 12,000 lbs will blow right through that.

Q: Hi, what is the horsepower of the 12-S? and can it be installed in a ARB Summit Front bumper on a Toyota 4Runner? Answer this question
A: GEAR REDUCTION RATIO: 234:1 | MAX LINE PULL/ LINE SPEED: 12,000 pounds / 4.0 feet per minute | MAX AMP DRAW/ LINE PULL: 396 Amps / 12,000 pounds. Mounting a winch to a vehicle requires a properly supported structure that is designed to accommodate the stresses of winching. When using a snatch block to increase winching capacity, the forces are multiplied to several times the rated capacity of the winch. Most ARB Bumpers feature the option of fitting a winch, and all are designed and tested to endure and exceed such loads.

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
