Ideal weight capacity and line speed for 1/2-ton pickups, Jeeps, and larger SUVs. The VR EVO 10 and 10-S feature IP68-rated waterproof construction, an ultra-reliable Albright contactor inside a relocatable control pack, and a state-of-the-art, two-in-one remote for added ease of use and versatility. With it's fast line-speed and lower ampdraw, the VR EVO series of winches are the hardest-working standard-duty winches Warn's ever made, with tactical styling that looks great up front and at a price that won't pull you out of your budget.
Installed the VR EVO 10S in my F-150. Easy installation. Everything was as expected and work out of the box. I did do a quick functional check before installing it using a Rough Country hidden winch mounting plate. The wireless works fine but range is pretty short, less than 12 feet. Bought the EVO for price point while sill having WARN engineering and warranty behind it.

Great winches that have been around for a long time, products you can trust!
I Purchased this winch for my son's Jeep and his only complaint was that warn didn't include any warn stickers....

1.0Not for a JL
Terrible fit for a JL. The cables come out back & up so they rub up against the grill. Had to switch to a Zeon, which according to Warn, come out the back but down. UPS is delivering it today - we’ll see.

5.0Great Winch and Controller
This winch was relatively easy to install and the wireless controller works great. We have not been able to use it for winching yet, but I expect it will perform as well as other Warn products I have used.

5.0Warn Winch review.
Looks great, somewhat easy to install. Fairly quick shipping.
Most of the winches out there have a universal pattern. It should have the bolt hole measurement on the box or website for the winch.

I have a poison spyder bumper. What does the fairlead bolt to. Does the winch come with a bracket. ?
Answer this question
i have cbi bumper.. and both the fairlead and winch bolt on the bumper directly. No brackets.
Hello im dcoy,
I'm sorry I do not know which Poison Spyder front bumper you have. So this will be generalized to the kind we currently offer. I believe you are asking about a bumper with a top mounted winch, yes you may require a bracket. Usually the bumpers come with holes for the winch (since its a Warn probably winch plate/winch mount is not required), but you may need a small little bracket for the fairlead (if not already provided). Check out part number PSC45-57-010. Now the other main type of Poison Spyder bumper is for mounting the winch in the front bumpers (recessed winch install), they should come with the winch plate and place to mount the fairlead. Now the Warn winches usually come with a fairlead, the do not come with a bracket. Thanks for checking us out. You can also call us if you have more questions at 877-474-4821.
Made in China. The American made winch from the same company costs twice as much.
The VR EVO winches are made in China, the rest of the Warn winches are produced in their factory in Clackamas, Oregon.

On 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4x4 Sport, are you able to mount this to a stock bumper using a winch plate?
Answer this question
I would say yes considering the large market for jeep parts. I just installed a warn ve style winch on a 100 series landcruiser in an arb bumper and it worked out perfectly.
No. There is no place to mount a winch plate on the stock bumper. Please call our sales line toll free at 1-877-474-4821

Does it need any special hard ware to install on a 2020 stock Jeep steel bumper?
Answer this question
Yes, a new front bumper OR a winch plate and modifications to your stock bumper.
Yes, for proper install you would need a winch plate. Assuming you have a rubicon because its a steel bumper, we have one from Rugged Ridge (part number: RUG11543.16). That will work on the factory Wrangler/Gladiator JL/JT Rubicon steel bumpers. If you need additional help, please call us at 877-474-4821. Thanks for checking us out.
In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
