Warn also offers a Premium Manual Locking Hub Kit part # WAR38826 which has all metal parts and is just slightly more money. Both Warn Locking Hub Kits come as a pair of hubs. A: Hi Ford The hubs could be the problem but it also depends on the vehicle and the type of hubs the vehicle has on them. some of the early Fords used Spicer hubs which are temperamental or it could be a damaged axle shaft or even dirt or rust in the hub assembly. Thank You

A: Hi Casey The factory locking hubs with the five bolts usually say 4x4 in the center and have no knob to turn are the automatic locking hubs. These are quite problematic especially as they age. Most of the after market manual locking hubs have 6 mounting bolts. The difference in the number of bolts is not of concern as they are bolting to the supplied inner parts the are unique to the brand hubs you go with. Luckily you have the 5 bolt hubs and not the three bolt hubs as they require a hub nut conversion kit Thank You

A: Hi Jake Warn does not make a set of locking hubs for a 1998 Ford ranger. They actually stop in 1997. Check to see if yours is not a 1997 design that has a long gray cap that sticks out through the wheel that says 4x4 on it. if not we will have to try to get a set of AVM hubs. Thank You

A: Hi Rusty The WAR9790 locking hubs will not replace your style hubs.The 1987-1988 F-150 and Bronco that are equipped with the hat style (Bronco II) locking hubs are very rare. I know of no manufacture that makes a replacement hub for them. All the service parts for them are obsolete from Ford. i would recommend you find a set of knuckles out at the wrecking yard and replace them with the more common and heaver duty units. Thank You

If you have a dually you will have to use the Mile Marker Manual Hub kit due to the dually adapter hub having a smaller hole for the manual hub. A: The Warn 11690 locking hubs will fit you 2000 Ford Super Duty BUT the dully adapter may need to be clearances on the inside for the hubs to fit properly. The dully spacer from ford is a ruff casting and sometimes covers part of the lip of the wheel bearing hub that the Warn hubs use to seal prevention the locking hubs from fitting. this casting can be ground for clearance but i usually sent them to a machine shop and have them machined on a lathe.
