Combines a heavy-duty receiver bracket with a 3/4, 20mm shackle. Utilizes a standard Class III receiver hitch as a recovery point for off-road. Fits all standard Class III hitches with 2 receiver.
I have had my recovery shackle for many years. I have pulled tree stumps with it, towed other cars and trucks, and even towed a freight liner cargo truck with it. I suspect anyone would break their truck before they break this shackle. But I want to comment about the loose fit. In another comment someone is concerned about the loose fit. I consider this a plus. After a day of deep mud off-roading, or a winter of Michigan's salted roads, I never have any trouble getting my shackle out of the receiver. I wish I could say the same about my tow ball!
Actually I bought this receiver shackle bracket by warn just to add accessories on my 1999 toyota tacoma truck hitch & my TOY looks great, maybe in the future that I need to haul or pull something, I will test the strength & power of the product, but for now I enjoy rolling my truck as well as the beauty of the WARN on it.
This product is made from good steel in the old US of A. Need I say more? It works great with a tow strap. With our extra long winter this year, it has seen alot of use. Thank You!
Would have been nice if it fit tighter like a normal receiver, but will still work to pull or be pulled when stuck. 2010f150
Good fit Quality looking part
Great way to add a recovery point if you don't have factory tow hooks

Q: What is the max load this shackle bracket and d-ring set will take? Answer this question
A: Mr. Sorry- Thank you for your question. The Max load rating for this shackle and mount is 9500 lbs. or the max load listing of the class 3 hitch you are installing it into. Which ever is lower.

Q: Would I be able to purchase a larger d-ring shackle and put it on this and still fit? Answer this question
A: Hi Taylor You have to be careful in your choice of D Rings you wish to use. there are so many different ones out there. Yes you can change the D-ring but some may require modification to the insert body or enlarging of the through hole to accommodate some. Thank You

Q: If I buy this does it come with everything in the picture? Is it as simple as sliding it in and using it? or will i need to purchase something else ? Answer this question
A: Hi Taylor Its a pretty simple plug and play deal. The Warn WAR29312 comes with the insert, D-ring with mounting pin for the d ring. you will require a hitch pin to secure the insert to your receiver hitch. http://jo.my/k4mykg Thank You

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
