Hello, I have a 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser with a straight bumper and wondering if the Warn Powerplant will fit.
Miguel from on
Provided the bumper is winch ready and has a minimum of 14" + from the grill to the front of the bumper edge, this winch will fit.
is there a kit you can buy so that you can use Synthetic rope instead of the cable on this winch or can you just use synthetic line in place of the cable
Gerald from wilsonville or on
There is not a kit available but the following parts will convert your winch to Synthetic rope. 9500 pound synthetic rope http://jo.my/oogs7m and an aluminum fairlead http://jo.my/p2ihnq Thank You

I have 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X 4 door which has special bumpers and side rails. Front bumper does have winch plates and I'm wondering if this winch/compressor combo will fit well and if bumper can handle it?
Fred from United States on
Thank you for the question. Since the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X has a sunken winch plate the Warn PowerPlant 9.5 Thermometric will not fit. We suggest the WARN ZEON 10 or the 10-S.

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
