Volant's Cool Air Intake Filter Box is engineered to specific design. It insulates and protects the filter from pulling hot air from the engine compartment, thus, increasing horsepower. The air ducts feature larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions giving you maximum horsepower and awesome throttle response. Combine all this with a high flow, cleanable filter and carbon fiber filter cover and you've got both looks and performance.
intake looks and sounds good. fit and finish is good. also installed Volant intake in 2018 jeep wrangler. average 17-19 mpg on Hwy previously, no average 19-21 mpg's which is good for a 5.7 Hemi. only complaint is needs better instructions.
Excellent product. Works extremely well. Well made, quality perfect. Great fit. Easy install.
Good product. They need to improve some stuff and add better fitting parts. Otherwise it's very nice. Has a nice sound and shows performance.
Gain in horsepower, easy to install, made my yota feel like a new truck again.
The worst part of the install was getting the factory air temp sensor removed from the OEM intake tube. I only gained 1 mpg from the factory setup. My only complaint is I didnt receive any stickers to put on my JEEP!
I bought the volant snorkel and intake kit for my 2010 JK unlimited which I averaged 18.4mpg and after the install and no change to driving habits reached 22.4mpg a 4mpg gain. You can also feel a bit of increase in power and response. Awesome product!!!!
Q: What’s the difference between Part # 164576 and Part # 16457 , there’s a 40 dollar difference but got the exact same descriptions ? Answer this question
A: Hello, These are both great intakes. I love mine installed in a Ram 1500 and a Wrangler JL. The difference I found is one had the blue cotton filter that’s cleanable. The other which I bought 2 of had the 100k mile Powercore filter. I believe the extra cost difference is in the filter. Hope this helps

A: The difference between the two part numbers are the filter options for the intake kit. Part # 164576 includes a Volant's PowerCore air filter and Part# 16457 includes MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter. Choose a PowerCore for the best filtration on the market with 100,000 Maintenance Free Miles of Driving and perfect for hard conditions. Choose a MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter for improved performance with the comfort of oiled filtration technology for those looking for horsepower
