Thank God this was not a gift. The person giving it would have been completely embarrassed and humiliated in my opinion. Worst product manufacturing and Quality Control issues I have ever experienced. 3 speaker bars sent and 3 returned due to paint on the first, shoddy workmanship on the second, looked like complete junk and number 3 the map lights do not work. 4 WD parts reps were top notch trying to correct the situation and trying to ensure that the product would arrive in excellent condition, replaced in a timely manner, handle returns efficiently, etc. 5 stars to Denise and Bethany at 4wd Parts. Unfortunately 0 stars for VDP. Will never buy their products again.

I was excited about upgrading my stock speaker bar on my 1999 wrangler, to this speaker bar. The shipping was quick, and the installation was easy (my friends dad is a BMW mechanic and we made it happen in about 25 minutes. Now as far as the speaker bar itself - it looks GREAT, the sound quality is about an 8 out of 10. Obviously a pair of bose speakers would sound better but lets not forget it's a jeep wrangler, not a Mercedes. One of the biggest negatives I found on the speaker bar is the lights themself, they are not bright at all and my stock bar was 10x brighter, but oh well it is what it is! I can probably put some new bulbs in them or something! Good luck to yah
