    PRODUCT OVERVIEW

    This convenient 16 gauge steel security console features Tuffy?s patented pushbutton latch system. For safety and convenience while operating the vehicle, the lid also latches closed without having to be locked. It has 2 compartments, a separate compartment for mounting a stereo, CB Radio, or other electronic equipment, and a lockable rear storage space lined with a rubber floor mat. The spacious rear compartment accommodates a CD changer, tools, and other valuables.

    5.0 Very heavy duty

    Installed in an 83 cj7 with no major issues. I have stock seats and wanted to install the cup holder on the front. Have a manual trans so I had to slide it back a little. No big deal but I did drill new holes to mount the seatbelt straps. Comes in handy and keeps the seatbelts from flapping around....wasn't a big deal but now it sure is a nice touch. I was able to mount my uniden pc78ltw cb radio in the radio slot with a LITTLE bit of grinding to open up the hole....cb radio cases are definitely not standardized in size or shape. Overall I love the product. Very durable and the armrest on top of

    5.0 Definitely built tough enough for a Jeep

    Putting this console in a CJ-7 Project. After getting my hands on this, I was confident enough in the secure construction that the Stereo got an upgrade. I'm not worried about the local rip and remove artists getting their hands on it, this console seems sure to keep my equipment safe.

    This is the second Tuffy console I've put in a Jeep. Can't beat the security and usefulness. The floor bolts were a little too long, so I had to add some extra washers, but otherwise a flawless install.

Does NOT work with bench seats. Additional hardware provided by customer or modifications to hardware may be required. Some applications have a special mounting kit to assist with install. Sold Separately. Mounts through floor, drilling required (3) holes.

    Q: Could I put a single din stereo with a pop out screen and it would come out with any problems? I'm afraid that it'll be too deep for the screen to come out correctly Answer this question

    A: Stereo Compartment: Comes pre-cut for DIN mount stereo 2-1/8"L x 7-1/4"W x 7"D, 67 degree angle.

    A: Hello, The dimensions: 24"L (including cup holder) x 12.5" W x 18.5" H (including 4" mounting bracket). The cup holder has two 3.5" holes for drinks. Thanks for checking us out.
