If you have ever looked at other kits on the market, you will see they either dont include any mounts or they just provide generic non fitted tabs. Once your steering box has been tapped, installation of the ram takes about one hour. Each bracket is formed from heavy-duty 1/4 inch plate steel for extra strength.

    Q: hi my name is shayne i have a 1991 toyota pickup dlx 2.4L 4cyl with a five inch lift kit. that has a oem intergrated front suspension. my question is where do you mount the ram steering assist on and will it work on a oem intergrated front suspenston. Answer this question

    A: Hello Shayne, The Trail Gear Rock Assault(TM) Ram Steering Assist Kit TGI130250-1-KIT is designed for the solid axle or solid axle swap vehicles. This is not deigned for the factory IFS suspension. Thank you.

    A: Hello Benji, This Trail Gear Rock Assault(TM) Ram Steering Assist Kit will work if you have the Trail Gear Rock Assualt kit. This will not work with factory steering.
