- This kit totally eliminates the problem of broken steering knuckles and studs. The addition of two studs in each arm effectively prevents the steering arm from becoming loose and shearing off the studs. The knuckle housing is also thicker than stock and larger gussets have been added around the outside of the knuckle for extra strength. Precision machined, each knuckle is direct bolt on, heavy duty replacement knuckle.

Q: I was told these fit my '76 LC FJ40 Straight axle and that all my stock equipment bolts up (disc brakes and spindles) is that correct? Also are these left or right hand drive? Thanks Answer this question
A: These are offered in both left and right hand drive. 130052-1-KIT would be left hand 130620-KIT would be right hand And correct. They should bolt right up without issue on that 76’ FJ40.

A: Hi Angler The six shooter knuckles are made to fit the Toyota solid front 8" axles. I know of nobody that makes stronger knuckles for the Dana 50 or Dana 60 bal joint front axles if you have no knuckles you could look into a set of Dynatrac knuckles that get rid of the unibearing and go to a live spindle.
