Designed to help full-sized pickups work hard on pavement, then work just as hard when roads are muddy, snowy, and rocky or when there are no roads at all. The Open Country M/T combines solid on-road performance with extra ground clearance, higher load-carrying capacity, and greater ability to go off-road. Truck enthusiasts know it for its long wear, low noise and aggressive tread pattern. An aggressive all-around light truck radial specifically designed for lifted pickup applications. The aggressive tread can crawl through any mess, while the smart lug placement and design provides precise, quiet driving on the street.
compared to a BFG KM2 in the same size they are heavier, but more quiet on the road. the heavyness contributed to half a mpg less on my fuel! but ride quaility improved as well. they dont seem to cup like KM2's

These tires grip well on and off the road.ive put 30,000 miles on them and they still have good grip. when your in the mud the tires clean out good to maintain the grip.

best tire for big trucks
I have a 2000 f350 with a diesel, 4x4 that ive tried a few sets of tires on and these tires are great. I have had them for about 4 years and ive put about 50,000 miles on them. I have been all over florida, up to north dokota and through texas and back up to colorado and these tires havent let me down. I ive still got about 2000 miles left on them and i wont buy anything else. they are very low noise even with little tread left. ive pulled a 35ft goose neck trailer with about 15000lbs on it for about half the life of these tires. And they are great off-road. Ive had these things in 2ft of mudd and she walked rite through it. you cant go wrong with these tires.

Will this tire fit 2014 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 16" wheel. Also for a meaty tire, Would the 16" wheel or 17" wheel look and ride better?
4wheeler from Dallas, Tx on
4Wheeler the 16" wheel will have a touch taller side wall giving a slightly softer ride as the sidewall can suck up more road imperfections. The Toyota TRD wheels will fit the Toyo LT315/75R16 tire and will have a great look to them. take a look at these Bushwacker fender flairs to keep the wider tires from throwing road grime at the side of your truck http://jo.my/udhoiwThank you
