Pavement is optional with these versatile all-terrain tires. They offer over 40 percent more tread life than the leading competitors, a blatantly aggressive tread design, and a quiet ride. Their aggressive tread pattern offers good traction in bad conditions, on pavement or off. The all-new Open Country A/T II also comes with an industry-leading 65,000-mile.
I've had these tires for two years. Have well over 65,000 miles on them and still have great tread and traction. Had them in the snow, Ice, thick and light mud, sand ( both beach and desert), used as a daily driving tire. I wanted BF A/T KO2 tires originally and got these on sale, glad I did now.

These tires have zero road noise. They seem to wear very well, they have a very good grip on pavement and dirt ( have not really been in deep mud or snow yet) but have no reason to think they will not do well in that as well. Good looking tire

Best tires I've ever owned!
I'm the third person in my family to buy these tires. ... no regrets.
The Toyo Tire company was founded in 1945 in Osaka, Japan as a manufacturer or everyday tires. In 1953 Toyo Tires built a factory in Itami, Japan. In 1966 the company established an U.S. headquarters during the U.S. auto boom. In the 2000's Toyo Tires entered the off-roading tire market with the very well received Open Country line. Open Country tires are manufactured in Toyo Tires' factory in Georgia. In 2012 Open Country was on the trucks driven by Robby Gordon who won the SSTD Grand Championship, Bj Baldwin who won the LOORS Pro 4 Championship and Kyle Leduc who wone the SCORE overall Championship.
