A: Tim- Thanks for the inquiry. I do not show a listing for a strap mounted bike carrier from Thule that will work with anything but a horizontal car trunk. This is probably because of the rear door designs on SUVs.

A: The Thule Passage Trunk Mount rack will not mount on the 2008 Acura MDX because there is no trunk to mount to. If you have a trailer hitch you can use the Thule Vertex Hanging Hitch Rack that can be found here http://jo.my/dsspb4 . If you don't have a trailer hitch on your MDX you will need the following part numbers Thule Rapid System 754, Thule WingBar 963, Kit 1549, Thule ProRide 591 to assemble a roof mounted option.

A: This Thule Passage Trunk Mount Bike Rack is meant to be used on a vehicle with a trunk. The flat surface of the rear of the XB prevents this from fitting.
