5.0Tons of real estate for all of the family's gear
Install is really easy with two people, and easy enough with one person if you are familiar with roof boxes and one is a bit crafty. It fits all of our alpine skis up to Super-G length and has extra room to keep other gear safe and dry for a family of 4.

4.0So far so good
I agree w/ PeterY's review: it's surprisingly large and sturdy and handles well at highway speeds with minimal added wind noise and drag. But the locking mechanism is finicky and I'm worried if it ever fails to close properly the box would become effectively useless. I've only used it for 1 trip so far, but that was 900 miles in 14 hrs.

4.0Force TX XXL
I have the Force TX XXL on my VW Tiguan SE for a few months now and used it on 2 week long road trips. I have the cross bars from VW dealer(OEM) .
It fits more than I expected (3 prs. skis with all boots and more)
One con-one of my hinges broke(each side has 3) it looks a bit flaky and now I have to deal with repairs that I may not be able to handle myself due to the special rivets holding it to the shell.

4.0Really roomy, fragile locking mechanism
Bought to supplement the storage space of my Subaru Crosstrek. Much bigger in person than the pictures suggest, so make sure you've got a good place to store it laying flat. Can fit a huge amount of luggage/gear and it didn't decrease the fuel efficiency by much. On a recent trip, I was able to fit 5 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards comfortably with all their bindings attached.
This would be 5 stars, but the locking mechanism is flimsy and the keyhole is already feeling warped. Sometimes the key gets a little stuck and I have to jiggle it out. I'm told that it's possible to break the key inside the lock if you turn it too hard.
