    The JK / TJ spare tire extension kit allows you to carry a larger spare tire/aftermarket wheel by extending the position of the spare tire mount away from the vehicle. This kit is not recommended for tires larger than 33 inches. The improved design features gussets for superior strength. Fits all JK and TJ Wrangler models including Rubicon and Unlimited.

    Installation it's a no brainer, only takes 15' and 2 beers, and your oversize spare will be ready to go, even description doesn't include tj's this adaptor will fit perfect

    Q: I am going to mount this bracket on a '94 wrangler yj. I will be replacing the stock size tire and 15" wheel with a BFG 31 x 10.50 x 15....will I have any issues with 3rd brake light interference Answer this question

    Q: Once I install this Teraflex bracket will the stock bump stops on the tail gate work? I have a 2011 Jk 2dr Sport with 2" AEV lift with 285/70/17 tires on stock wheels with 1 1/2 wheel spacers. Answer this question

    A: Hello badkat, Yes, you may need to modify the factory bump stop for the tire to sit against the tailgate. Thank you.

    A: Hello 904Jeeper, Thank you for the question. We do not recommend tires over 32" to be mounted on the factory tailgate tire bracket.
