TeraFlex Shock Bar Pin Eliminator Kit

Very easy bolt on. All hardware worked perfect.

I had ripped the shock bar out of the mounting area. Upon removing the 13mm bolt it napped off at the head. After reappeared attempted and looking up solutions, I extracted the welded in nut and remainder of the bolt with house of banging and lots of air chisels. I was left with no hole but more of a gash. I used one bolt to mount it (stock) and one heat treated grade 8 bolt, nut ant lock washer to hold new teraflex mount. I'm very happy because I thought I would have to weld in just to hold but the mount was heavy duty enough to hold abuse the next day.

Install these once and forget about those nasty, rusty, bar-pin bolts forever. Makes shock removal and installation a breeze. The metal brackets seem a bit thin, however-- will have to wait and see how well they last over time.

Mounts very easily, just have to re-use your shock hold down bolts, just remove your old bar pin from your shock absorber and install the shock with the new bolt in the kit. I prefer this style over the JKS style bar pin eliminator which uses allen bolts, needs to be assembeled with the help of a vise and costs double the price.

Works great to replace those goofy bar pins. Only problem is that it rotates the shock 90 degrees and so the top bar pin eliminator also has to be rotated, minor but important detail.
