The TeraFlex 9550 VSS is an exceptional shock absorber designed and developed specifically for a lifted Jeep Wrangler. This means you get the best extreme off-road performance and unequaled highway ride because it is engineered, valved, and tuned specifically for your Jeep. TeraFlex 9550 VSS shocks feature a proprietary in-house velocity valving that is tuned to react perfectly with TeraFlex suspension systems. A triple-chromed rod ensures trouble-free operation, and an oil block and seal wipe the shock rod during compression to keep all internal fluids sealed and contained for extended lifetime performance, additionally, an internal travel stop limiter minimizes the impact of over-compression. The 9550 VSS gas shock uses a heavy duty twin-tube design construction to provide protection from trail damage, and the durable black e-dipped finish resists salt and other corrosives under the most extreme conditions. Double-welded shock eyelets reinforce and support the shock body against repeated stress from constant suspension cycling. Premium-quality rubber bushings help to refine ride quality, Jeep specific mounting ends are vulcanized to the bushing to provide a hassle free installation. All TeraFlex 9550 VSS shocks are coverd by a limited lifetime warranty.
Added steering stabilizers as well from teraflex can't complain at all very happy with all the teraflex products I've bought
Tremendous ride upgrade in making the switch from pro-comp to teraflex. My lifted 2013 Wrangler rolls over bumps now, instead of heavily bouncing over them.
First off I wanna say my experience with Teraflex products has been nothing but exceptional. The shocks I purchased were to replace the stock shocks I had on my 2001 TJ. I bought these soon after I bought my Jeep. The quality and smoothness of my ride improved tremendously. If you have a lifted vehicle, especially a Jeep, you know how rough the ride can be if you have stock shocks. My Jeep is silver and black and I wanted a quality shock that wouldn't put and crazy colors under my Jeep and these worked perfectly, they look nasty. I have had them for almost two years now and they are still preforming on and off-road and when I clean the Jeep up they still look new. 100% awesome buy, highly recommended!
