They look awesome, but when I went to install them the threaded locking nut would bind up. Pressed it back out and still have difficulties with threads. I don't believe that the clearance is right so when you press the ball joint in it actually closes the clearance on the threads. So I went ahead and bought the Teraflex instead.
These ball joints have made my Jeep almost undriveable. They mention a “break in period” of 100-500 miles. I’m at 3000 kms now and my steering is all over the place. Vehicle wants to climb every rut and camber in the road. Google Synergy and you will never buy from them.
Very stiff , Jeep actually drove better with factory worn out ball joints
Had these in for about 9 months now and they have been great! Been offroad in Moab and about 3000 miles on road with zero issues. I get what other guys are saying about the rubber boots being too soft but not a big deal. Do I wish they were more solid? Yes. Do I wish I didn't have to push them back up into place after greasing them? Yes. Is it a deal breaker for me? No.
