The Super Swamper SX was designed for extremely tough off road conditions where sidewall strength and protection is needed to withstand the severe scuffing from running in ruts and snagging roots and rocks. The sidewall lugs not only protect the sidewall but also provide extra traction when climbing out of ruts. **TREAD DESIGN MAY DIFFER BY SIZE**

I bought these tires new almost 4 years ago for my 83 chevy k5 blazer and they've been great. They grip so awesome both on and off road. The only thing I don't like about them is they like to grab any of set in the road and they like to grab and travel in any kind of groove in the road so you kinda have to stay on top of your driving otherwise you'll end up off in the dirt or on the other side of the road. Other then that they're great. And if you like the sound of loud tires like I do, they're definitely some noise makers but it's music to my ears. They look great with the big trees design and they ride nice

My second set of SuperSwamper TSL s. Last set lasted 7 years and I ran them down to the cords. Hope for the same out of this new set. Sidewalls are super strong.

So far I’m happy with these tires. Not as much road roar than you would think. They are rolly polly though. Don’t make abrupt moves on the highway or some may be able to read your window sticker.”If you can read this roll me back over.” Only had them for a week and so far so good. These are bias ply,I just hope they last a good bit. Over all can’t beat a Super Swamper. P.S.it took a good while to get them so make sure before you order, make sure they do have them in stock.Another bit of info, tires are shipped LTL now from 4WheelParts so don’t expect to receive them fast.

5.0Good working tires
Have a set of these in my Ford Escape && absolutely love the look. Letters make it easy to paint them pink. Definitely worth the price!
very good tires, work very well offroad, mud and rocks. Flex well at 8psi on my TJ. acceptable on road, still drive to and from offroad parks and drive around town. Measure out close to 36" on the Jeep. Almost 2" taller then the 35" tires I had before
No they are just steel belted. I would look elsewhere I bought a set last fall and they do not balance. My tires came with a "pre-balance 16oz patch" in them how can you balance a tire without mounting it? I am unhappy I mean you pay big money and you get substandard stuff.
PN: SAM-75 The TSL/SX has a strong nylon or polyester bias ply body with dual belts under the tread and wrap-a-round lugs. Super Swamper TSL/SX tires are D.O.T. approved off-road, purpose built tires that also provide a smooth on-road ride.

What air pressure should I run these on the road on a 2004 Chevy Silverado 4 door
Answer this question
If your truck is empty, you can probably run 30-40 psi for a smoother ride. If you’re carrying a load, I’d go with the posted pressure.

You should use the tire specs on the inside of the door of your truck.

tire spec is 35 -45 that always runs the center treat out faster and beats me to death in city.
I run 26 to 28 psi in city so it does not beat the crap out of me and it keeps the tread even. I rotate ever 8k and when i get to leave concrete I recommend 12 - 14psi
enjoy...season to taste
on the rocks please!
According to their company website the Max PSI for this tire is 35. They do not have off roading recommendations. Now these have an thick sidewall so you can dramatically lower the psi compared to other tires. For most tires 15-20psi to start off with and releasing air as you go, but upon some research about these (and other Super Swamper TSLs) tires I see forums with 8-12psi. With 12/max15 being the start off point. Often people usually lower the pressure (on a road/flat surface) and stop once they see a bulge from the tire (sidewall bend slightly).

Say what, explode,LoL. Hey I have run 38 Gumbo Munster Mudders at 79mph, showing my age, I bought these because of that type of tread design and side bite. I put these on stock dodge 07 17 inch rims. They do take little time to warm up, and have run them at 70 , my dodge is a 96. They like around 60 mph I've noticed. I like the width, don't stick out much from fenders, hate the one's you see way out, they've never played in mud or heavy snow. Hope this helped.

Will the store mount these tires with balancing beads since it takes a lot of wheel weights?
Answer this question
The Super Swamper Tires off-road line includes the Super Swamper M16 tire, with 24 sizes, the Narrow Super Swamper, with 3 sizes, and the Super Swamper Radial which comes in 42 sizes. Super Swamper Tires are unusually round. So they work well on the trail but are still able to give a smooth ride on the pavement. The tires have six tread piles which cushion the bumps and shakes of the road. They also have low rolling resistance so they won't tax fuel economy. And up to 35 miles per hour they are not any louder than everyday tires. Super Swampers are manufactured by the Iterco Tire Corporation, known for making killer off-road tires for rock crawling (IROK), mudding (The Bogger) and tough trail running (TSL/SX).
