Smittybilt XRC Tire Carriers

A: I installed this about two years ago and only needed one OEM bump stop that rest against the main swing arm to help dampen any rattle sound. So far it's working great and no squeaks or rattle on any trails

A: No it doesn’t. However I left mine in place & it helps prevent unwanted noise. 

A: Yes. It’s a separate plate that you can install in a few configurations or leave off.

A: Yes you can mount a back up camera on this you can buy the cheap ones on Amazon they were great. But to be honest with you I wouldn’t buy the Smitty built tire carrier I have had nothing but problems it’s a pain to install. It’s squeaks while driving the doors almost impossible to open because it’s so stiff the grease point is so far up into the bumper it is almost impossible to get a grease gun in. Not worth the money and hassle.

A: It would have to be a custom mount as this carrier isn’t specifically designed for one.

A: No. Only fits Gen 2 bumpers.

A: Unfortunately it will not.

A: No, this unit is supported by the XRC bumper and mounts to it for total support. The tire carrier or the tire mounted to it do not touch the rear door.

A: No. You need the Smitty built SRC Gen2 Pivot HD oversize tire carrier part# 2843 or the XRC Gen2 optional tire carrier part# 76857. I am running the gen2 pivot hd . With a 37 on it . 3 months now I think it’s a little heavy for it but it will work for now .

A: Dealership installed mine and the same thing happened to me. Called smittybilt for hardware replacement and couldn't help me. Did you find them? If so, can you let me know where. 4wp gave me the run around and said they are obsolete. No help from them.

A: We don’t offer one for this model swingarm.

A: Only a nylon washer would be placed on the pivot. There are no bearings on this carrier.

A: Part#76857-01 is required to install with 10th Anniversary Bumper or other Non-Smittybilt Bumper.

A: We are expecting some in the middle of June. Keep in mind this is an estimate date - it can change.

A: No it will not fit. It works with a 76857 or 2843 which are both for JKs

A: The LOX-PM or DLX-PM work.

A: The factory OEM center break light mounted with no problem. Sadly I am unsure about the 19th anniversary bumper as I do not have it. I believe it says it will work with this tire carrier in the details but I do not know for sure.
