Smittybilt's XRC GEN2 Armor the new line of XRC JK bolt-on fender flares were specifically engineered to provide the maximum protection and clearance needed when you're pushing your rig through the toughest conditions.
Each XRC GEN2 Armor is powder coated for immediate use and durability or they can be painted to color match your ride. XRC Fenders are streamline designed to help increase suspension articulation while maintaining the street-ability look. Less is more when it comes to XRC GEN2 Armor, when the OE fender does not meet your needs.
The front fenders were pretty extreme to install. However, the rear were super easy and didnt take a whole lot of time. Now, when installing the front everything comes off, the old fenders, cowel (break spot weld), wipers all the way off, etc.... the instructions that come with them are meh... very basic ... but they do have a smittybilt number u can call if u get stuck. Overall the look is amazing. U will have to paint a little on the pieces that dont get covered up by the new fender. If u have cladding on u will have to remove the front piece and the back piece u can swap out for the shorter piece that sits at the back fender. Nonetheless, worth every second!
Q: Where do you put the license plate after the install? Answer this question
A: If you’re no someone that has the tools or just don’t want to mod your tag bracket then there’s a tag relocation mount to move it to the spare tire, then cover the original tag bracket hole with a aftermarket bottle opener, then you can have a cold beverage while modding your rig.

A: The license plate mounts to the same location using the factory hardware. I did have to modify the factory license plate mounting frame where the molded piece that covers the light meets the body to accommodate for the angled steel from the armor conflicts. Pretty easy modification with cut-off wheel on a grinder or sawzall.

Q: Does anyone have these with a Gobi Stealth Rack and an XRC Gen 2 Bumper? I'm wondering if they work. Answer this question
A: I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t work, I’m sure they designed all the XRC products to work with each other without any fitment issues. I have them installed with the XRC Atlas bumper with tire carrier gate and they fit like a glove.
