A: That was my thought as well, but it’s a bit easier that it seems. Insert from the back hole first, then as you get the first elbow of the ubolt in the frame start moving it towards the front hole. Have a nut handy, and as soon as you have enough threads out through the hole to catch with the nut your are good. Hope this helps.

A: Use the hole you put the u bolt in to place a large pliers or something in behind the u bolt to hold it in place until you get some nuts on it. Two people are preferred. One to hold the rails and one to bolt it up. I somehow managed it on my own.

A: No! These are steps, I would not recommend using as rock sliders or as any kind of lifting point. They bolt on to the underside of the rocker panels/body

A: Hi, I installed these on my 09 Rubi a few months ago and they bolt on using the body mounts with out problems.

A: I personally did not weigh them on a scale but as a good guess I would have to say 40 to 50 pounds each. The freight was 119# and the box was quite heavy.  I was able to lift and install them by myself, just a bit awkward.  They are vary sturdy, they will hold up when sliding over a rock, tried that, and they mount to the factory holes.  The only thing that is a minor draw back is if the truck is lifted, getting in and out is more difficult due to the fact that the steps stick out about 8” but up close to the door stoop.  I’m 6’2” and its a step to reach over and to the ground.  Since they set so close to the stoop, stepping on to them is almost like stepping into the floor of the truck.  On the bright side, they do make it much easier to access the roof from the sides.    There great for the price

A: Hello JL115, No, you will not need to remove the frame bolts. You remove the 2 nuts on each side of the frame bolt, then scoop the bracket under the washer of the frame bolt and over the two studs (which you took off 2 nuts before), and finally tighten. A: Hi Alex The S/B76631 is for the rocker guards only and does not include the roof rack system. You are correct that the body lift will affect the mounting of the roof rack system. You will have to fabricate a plate to raise the rear mount. A simple plate with 4 holes in it will do the trick that will allow the upper holes to extend above the frame and simply nut and bolt them.
