A: Yes it comes with the cross bars, I recommend leaving the front one off so the freedom tops or soft top are easier to access. The distance from the top of the cross bar to my hard top is 5.25”. The cross bars sit higher than the support bars to if you can make the clearance work for the cross bars you’re good to go. 

A: Cross bars are included. I haven't installed the rack on my Jk yet.

A: If you're looking to reduce wind noise, we found we have little to no major increase in wind noise with this rack. The round design of the frame seems to let the wind flow around the tubes without creating excess noise. Ours is installed on a 2010 JKU.

A: I built my own. I actually found that a 6" wide x 52" long fairing fit well but having it on the front bar produced a good bit of noise. I'll have to try a much wider fairing. I used the same size but only about 48" or so wide for the first crossbar (one back from the front bar). The reason being is I have a solar panel mounted in between the first and second crossbar. Wind from the windshield was coming up and hitting the underside of the solar panel and causing a good bit of noice. The fairing on the crossbar works very well to stop that, fwiw.

A: No. The rack comes with brackets to drill and mount to body OR it has brackets to mount to the frame. It uses the same nut plates you used to attach the bumper to the frame. We are running XRC Gen 1 on one Jeep and a Gen 2 on the other. The rack hardware includes longer bolts and spacers to fill the gap between the rack and frame created by the bumper.

A: No. The bumper angles back to accommodate it. You can always email Smittybilt but I have the SRC bumper and it angles back just like the XRC.

A: If you’re going to bolt to the frame you’ll have to cut the bumper or remove it. The bumper will be in the way of the down pipe to the frame

A: Rack works with Factory rear bumper or SRC series rear bumpers

A: Yes, there is a mounting bracket in the kit for mounting on the body panel in front of the rear tail lights.

A: I don't know. Check with the manufacturer.

A: 2 ways drill into the body or bolts to the frame, and I don’t believe it will work with the atlas bumper, I have pictures of mine mounted if you want to see them

A: So it is only if you cut the bumper or mount the rack to your body. I myself cut the bumper to hard mount it to the frame and I'm super happy with it. I think it looks way better that way

A: Pops, unfortunately the SRC Roof Rack can not be installed with a snorkel.

A: The front supports have a plastic end cap at the bottom you can drill that to run wires up the support and into the front cross bar. The front cross bar has holes next to each light tab for wires.

A: Hello Elli's Jeep, It appears that we can not confidently say they are compatible. The reason, we don’t know how wide the Aries light mount is (especially near the top portion of windshield), this could push the SRC pillars too far out and make assembly difficult/impossible. A: If you have nothing on the rack, it is approximately 6” above your hardtop.

A: No - if you look at the additional images on this part, the rack mounts to those holes on your windshield frame. You might have better luck with the quick release mirrors that slide into your door hinges when you have the door removed.

A: Hi RICK The S/B76717 SRC Roof Rack has removable crossbars that allow the soft top to be removed and replaced. These cross bars have some simple wing nuts to remove and then you can remove the bars and fold your soft top up and down. I hope this is helpfull Thank You Jon Snyder 4Wheelparts
