A: Only the inner side next to the vehicle slides into a slotted tube on the bottom of the upper tent. The other three sides attach with a zipper the upper half of which pre exists already sewn to the bottom of the main tent.

A: No it has a separate storage bag. It’s about the size of larger sleeping bag.
