A: I did as well so I left it in the sun. Main part was mounted on the frame with the windows off. After a hour or so it was able to all go into place. Same with the windows just to make it easier 

A: I would sit the Jeep outside in the sun for a while to get the top nice and hot and it should help stretch it out to fasten the latches.
