I just used this rope at a Winter off road event with record snowfall. The rope exceeded any expectations and I think convinced a few people to get their own. Highly recommend and can’t wait to use it again and again!

This is one of those products that you purchase but hope you don’t have an occasion to use it! Seems well made and at a good price. The only suggestion I have is to make the storage bag bigger. I seriously doubt I will ever get the rope back in the bag after I use it. It is great to have it in my arsenal of recovery gear.

This has done everything I've asked of it: towed a Jeep off the Rubicon trail without the jerking and snatchness of a regular tow strap, pulled a fully loaded tow rig up a steep hill, and even a motorhome stuck in the sand. This doesn't replace a tow strap, it's a tool in the tool kit for the right situation.
Does this have abrasion protection added to the loop ends to protect it from chafing??
Answer this question
Yes, the ends are a rubberized like coating.

I have a dodge 3500 diesel should I go with the 1.5 inch rope or would the 1 inch rope work
Answer this question
You’re probably 8500-10000lbs, depending on your load out. My 2500 Cumins weighs 10,200 fully loaded. I went with 1”. It’s break strength is 30k. Also, keep in mind the weighting on the rope is for the vehicle being pulled. Unless you constantly wheel with other full size rigs, the 1.5” might be overkill. It won’t stretch enough to give its full potential if your tugging on a Taco. It also takes up a lot more space.
Either rope will work. Just go by the breaking strength. Do you want 30k or 60k?
