Just what I wanted
I wanted to keep my stock hitch, and this worked perfectly. The description was a little confusing, as I thought this wasn’t the high gloss but it actually was. I just took a scuff pad to it and it it looks great!

Absolutely a great product extremely easy to install I'm more than happy with it. Makes my jeep look even better the stock bumpers are not that good flemsy and not attractive this bumper is the bomb

Reasonably Priced, Sturdy Bumper (see below)
I bought this bumper & hitch set for my 2005 TJ Wrangler. The material is nice and solid and the finish excellent. I expect it to last a long time. There are a couple of things they *don't* tell you however. First, this is 2 pieces, not one unified piece (as it appears in the photos). Second, the end caps are plastic, though that's not a huge deal. Third, the instructions are basically crap. Because this is 2 pieces, they assume you are installing only one piece and thus there are no unified instructions for installation. Fourth, they omit the fact that you *must* remove your tow hook to install this and you cannot put it back on. Fifth, though this really is a minor concern, the finish on the hitch is smooth and the finish on the bumper is powder-coated. Finally, in order to install the 2 most central bolts (not the outside set, but the pair that goes closer to the center of the jeep), you *must* lower your gas tank. This fact is also omitted. They are clear about the holes you do need to drill, but other aspects of the installation are not mentioned. As I said, the instructions are basically crap. Despite these issues, and because others might find this easier, I do recommend this product. The price is great and I think the materials will last a long time.

A: Part JB48-RT is the non hitch bumper. The Smittybilt Rear Bumper with Hitch in Textured Black (Black) - JB48-RHT has a welded hitch.
