A: Smittybilt makes a hilift jack mount for this carrier. There are a couple of different options for the Roto-Pax, they make an attachment that attaches the the upper rail of the lift, or there is also a tire wrap mount that I have seen as well.

A: Hello, For this bumper, you can actually get the Smittybilt Trail Jack Mount part number S/B2844. No additional drilling is required. And for the RotoPAX can get tricky because of the spare tire you have, I will provide a solution that will work for MOST cases. We do offer the RotoPAX Universal Mount part number ROTRX-TM which mounts behind the spare tire at the center. You will also need a RotoPAX mount (with the handle) we offer a couple here are the three: ROTRX-LOX-PM (this one is lockable), ROTRX-DLX-PM , and the ROTRX-PM. A: I have 35” tires and there’s plenty of room. I can’t imagine why not. 

A: I don't have the jeep anymore. I had 40's on it. I had to lift the handle a little to shut the back so it wouldn't scrape. I thought i might need to readjust and retighten everything but i never got to it and traded the jeep. This was my 1st time replacing the tire carrier.

A: Maximum weight capacity for this carrier is 135 pounds.

A: 37in tires which weigh about 150lbs its a pretty rigid upgrade. Very solid

A: i use a cable and lock

A: I am not fond of locking lug nuts (which is the only way to lock it) for the simple reason if you do a lot of back country off roading they will fail or you will not have the key when you need it the most. If your in an area where you are at risk of it getting stolen I would go to a tire shop for one that will fit but put the regular nut back on when off roading.

A: My previous response I thought was for the HD pivot spare tire mount. The jack mount clears my 37” spare just fine. Downsides are you have to remove the base of your jack, and good luck getting the cotter pin back into the base when you need it. Other downside is you need to make sure you close the rear lift window before closing the rear gate or it will break.

A: I have 37” tire mounted on 17x9” rim on mine. The bracket is adjustable both horizontally outward from the rear gate as well as vertically to get it above your bumper. I’ve had mine installed a little over a year and I’ve been 4-wheeling on some tough trails in CO and Moab and have had no issues.

A: Not sure how far over the elite tail light covers go, but you only have about 3/16 between the tire carrier and the stock tail light. Hope that helps. 

A: Unfortunately this has not been confirmed to fit as it has not been tested.

A: I had the same problem because the instructions on how to assemble it are very vague. After you finish installing the carrier there should be some parts left over which are meant for the license plate carrier and the 3rd brake light. The 3rd brake light is repurposed from your stock brake light.

A: Part #7734 is the bracket. And yes it does come with the light.

A: Humm. Not sure as i have the same size rim and tire width. But my tires are 37" and they fit with lots of room left. Do you have a large wheel offset? -40 or somthing?

A: If you are using the OE wheel, you will need an adapter bracket part number 3721.

A: If this happened to me, I would either get smittybuilt to replace the whole tire bracket portion (not the frame work that bolts to tailgate and vehicle). Or take that bracket off and have someone put a couple tack welds on it.  If you put some tack welds on one, I would do them all. Then repaint it.
