A: I'll let 4wheel answer the return. The professionally installed should not be required. Out of the box it will install on a roof rack system. Just need two people to lift and place. It is light enough for one person but awkward enough most likely to put a scratch on the vehicle. I was impressed how simple it was to install.

A: I know that 4wheelparts warrenty will cover broken zippers because that's what the man at the store told me. I was quoted about $250 for a professional installation by 4wheelparts. I decided to do it myself instead. As far as returns go, I'd imagine you can return it if its unused with no issues at your local 4wheelparts, but shipping returns may prove harder. A Semi dropped this off at my house.

A: It can be left on year round, however I would recommend you remove the RTT in the winter. The cover is a thick reinforced vinyl that may get brittle in extreme cold for long periods of time. The tent can easily be removed with help and this will ensure you years of enjoyment.

You need to make sure the rack on your car has at least a 150lb dynamic weight limit. You may have to get creative in the mounting but it is pretty adjustable with the mounting brackets. As long as you have crossbars to mount to and your weight rating is high enough you should be able to make it work.
