A: The d rings are only used to pull stuff during emergencies usually when off-roading. Using the d-rings for towing on the road is dangerous because someone needs to be on the other vehicle holding the brakes by keeping tension on the chains/straps during the entire trip (hills/stops/etc). Get a tow hitch with a ball to properly tow anything on the road. 

A: Ring on the Bumper are incredibly sturdy. I’ve used them for recovery, but I am not sure about for being towed. Might be a question for the manufacturer.

A: If you ensure that everything is torqued to spec you should be just fine. I’ve had no problem pulling or getting pulled by the d-rings on my bumper. 

A: I don't know about that. But the front bumper bolts are too short. buy some at least 1" longer and it will be much faster install.

A: It took me like 6 weeks and 10 phone calls to get mine. They said it was going to ship within 3 days of ordering. 

A: Heavy. Smittybuilt has it listed as 240lbs. Good thing it comes in two pieces. Still, I was able to install it myself with the outer shell balanced on my floor jack. I also upgraded to 700lb springs on my struts to handle the extra weight.

A: We have a 2007 and so far left that part off . as it did not seem necessary.

A: If you watch any YouTube videos on any bumpers, you’ll see it’s inevitable. You’re going to have to move the washer bottle. There are a few aftermarket options.

A: Jim, You can access the winch from the top of the bumper by the grill. The bumper weighs about 238lbs when shipped with packaging. Usually the factory skid plate hits the new bumper and will not work unless you modify it.
