I really enjoy having an awning for getting out of the elements . When I got my gen two The box was pretty beat up , it had no hardware or instructions . I sourced my own hardware , got it mounted and works as it should .

Q: What is the maximum extended length of the legs? looking to mount it over the door to my van that is about 99" off the ground when the van is parked on a level surface. Will they be long enough? Answer this question

A: Absolutely trash. Broke 1st time out and smitybilt doesn't have replacement parts to fix it. I wasted all that money for nothing! DONOT buy!

Q: I got the 8 ft awning. Can I use this with the stock 2022 Runner rails and Rhino Vector crossbars? Only about 4 ft of the 8 ft awning will be attached to the truck.. do I need to exchange the 8 ft awning for the 6 ft since I don't have full length rails Answer this question

Q: I have the Smittybilt SRC defender rack on my 2018 wrangler JL. Will this mount to that rack? or do i need the 6ft one? Answer this question

A: Hello Aztec57, You can install either. The mounting points are movable (the bolts sit in channels along the awning) so you can mount in different positions. It would be personal preference which you would choose. Also with a tape measure you can see how you would position the 6ft or 8ft.

A: It may - we have not test fit these products on any other aftermarket brands to tell you for sure if it would fit or not.
