The look good but the fit was not all the great on the rear fenders at all they were a pain to get on. I had dug the screw further into the side away from the hole making it higher just to get the rear to fit

Body washers a must install
These are OK if you install with a good set of body washers and lock nuts don't over tighten the bolts and they will last, let them move around a bit when your done with install.

Okay for the money
These are okay for the price and maybe because they are imported is why the fit is not exact. I had to file out the lower mounting holes on the rear which resulted in not being able to retain the screw cap. Other mounting screws have pulled through the plastic which requires you to use a bigger washer and not overtighten. Would recommend to a friend with the above caution.

Bring your own hardware
Product looks great, and installs to body well. The screws and plastic washers provided are too small to hold the flares to the body.I had to replace with my own washers. (so a double installation).

missing a few miner pieces, over tightening of bolts will brake the fender vary vary easily. spacers need to be put on two at a time to prevent this from happening. i probably would go with bushwhacker if they weren't so expensive but for good looks and saving this will have to do. 35's on my yj covered them well enough got pulled over for it so had to get them.

keeps the mud off your mirrors
i have 10.5" wide tires on MT Classics and they tuck under perfectly. the front fender extensions are of no use, atleast for YJs...thought i had gotten the wrong product LOL but really, they dont even look like they'll fit in with the flares! overall affordable and looks great

Better than expected
I wasn't very fond of the pocket style fender flares however I found a smitty dealer in my area selling these for around [$]. That's a steal after being quoted $400-$500 for bushwackers pocket style fenders. I bought it and it was so easy to install. Alot easier then removing the stock flares which were a royal pain. I tested it on the trail; my 33x12.50x15 rear tire rubbed up on it while climbing a rock the flare took the abuse from the MT's with no issues. Ive had them on for almost 1 year with no problems just people asking me where I got them and I saved at least $200 by going with smittybilt and not bushwacker.

We use these fenders flares on the Pro Comp TJ with great success. They have been beaten and abused all over the country for the last 4 years with no issues. mmathews[@]

Looks are decieving
I was very excited when I got these.Problem was they werent quite big enough and I had even measured the tire width and showed it to the sales clerk who assured me they were the right size. When i showed him they werent after i installed them he just shruggged and went back to work. Not wanting to lose out on a [$] investment I kept them until going out one day and at first the freeway took the right front one when the wind resisitance ripped it right out of mounts. The rear one was lost later when the rear tire caught the edge during flexing and ripped it right off. They look great but are extremely over priced. The mounting hardware isnt all that great either.
Do these Fender flares come with the hardware to install?

The picture looks like this fender flare is smooth, but the description says its textured... which is it? I have an 01 TJ and it has the smooth 6" fender flares but my front drivers side one is cracked so I want to make sure its the same as others.
Ken from Orangeville, IL on
Ken, these are textured and the only way they come. Thank you for your question
