Smittybilt Bed Guard Tonneau Covers

At hundreds of dollars less than the big trifold covers, I was skeptical. I purchased this as I have to have a tonneau that will prop so the whole bed can be used. Install was super easy, but I ended up going to Home Depot and getting some stronger drain tubing as the kind it comes with was thin and pinched. Otherwise everything went well and the cover is well built. Time will tell how it hold up, but with a 5 year warranty and the price I am willing to give it a shot.

I took a chance on the Smittybilt bed cover. I have never owned one before, so I have no comparison. But this one wasn't all that hard to install. I took a long time installing it, but nowadays I move slow at everything. I haven't finished adjusting it. In the car wash it leaked some at the front corners. But I plan to move it towards the cab a little, and use some of the sticky weather strip roll they provided. I anticipate it will stop the leaks. On the panel that is at the tailgate I have to let it slam or push down on it to latch. It has straps to secure it ⅔s or all of the way open. One time I accidentally left it ⅓ open. But it rode that way for miles, even at 70 mph. When you attach the rods for keeping it all the way open you adjust the rods so that the cover stands straight up and not on the back of the cab. I've had it for a few months now and I like it.

Install was really easy, quality of build is great. I did notice after a rain storm I got some water in the bed but not too bad. The strut holder brackets don’t always hold onto the struts. Overall happy with it

Seems solid, easy install solo. Wish it were compatible with more bed cross bar systems

The Bed cover for my f250 that was almost perfect. Looks awesome fits perfect but had small pressed in spots on one panel. It’s fiberglass so I just used some black enamel paint a several coats to seal. Really only I know it’s there. Not smitybilt fault but maybe should talk to who y’all use to ship these products. I was worried as soon as I saw box on truck. It was very beat up. But like I said cover fits great simple install.
