    The Arctic Fridge/Freezer’s ultra-efficient compressor can run on 12 volt or 110 volt to provide temperatures as low as -22°F in conjunction with thick 55MM polyurethane insulation. State-of-the-art LED controls are recessed to protect them from damage or accidently being altered, and the three-stage automatic power cut off to ensure that your vehicle’s battery has enough reserve capacity to start the engine.

    Smitty Bilt arctic refrigerator freezer! Took this on a camping trip and the thing worked amazing! I was camping for one day in temperatures that were above 90° and the refrigerators temp stayed consistent the entire time and never felt like my battery was being drawn down after being parked for 14+ hours!!! Best thing I have bought for camping.

    I bought this fridge while it was on sale for a family road trip from ABQ to Pensacola. It lived in the center of the back seat of our JLUR for 2 weeks. The 12v plug is long enough to reach the outlet in the rear compartment of the Jeep. There was enough room on each side of the cooler for each of my boys to sit. They are 13 and 17. The inside of this fridge is huge. It stayed packed with drinks and food the whole time and kept it all between 34 - 38 degrees F. I never once had an issue with this fridge shutting off or draining the battery of the Jeep. It stayed in the Jeep for the entire trip and I never worried if the battery would be drained. This is a great fridge and would definitely recommend.

    Q: Does this fridge/freezer come with the velcro insulated cover that is shown in the pictures or is that add on purchase?  Answer this question

    A: Yes it does, this is on the best investment I have made. The first summer paid for itself. In ice , it cools really quickly, a great deal of thought went into this product.
