Do you have to remove any of the main body bolts to install these? I've heard of some of the blots breaking in the removal process.

The only bolts you would remove are for any existing stock rock rail that you may have (as in the case of a Rubicon). I did not break anything in removing my stock Rubicon rails. These bolt directly to the frame using a providing a front bolt and using the two existing bolts that hold the body onto the frame mounts for each side of the vehicle. It's very strong.

I bought my 2017 JK used. It didn’t come with any side rails at all. I didn’t have to remove any bolts. Apollo was really easy to install. Hope this helps. Good luck!
