Skyjacker's Track Bars allow you to finely adjust the alignment of your axle, giving you the best possible performance
this track bar eliminates the weak ball stud type stock track bar.it installs fairly easily, only needing to drill two holes in the crossmember.
Overall it is about twice the size of the stock track bar and uses heim joints instead of bushings. I think the front end will fall off before this part fails!!
Q: What is the center hole length with it fully extended and screwed all the way in? Answer this question
A: I have not been able to get the adapter to fit on my 1999 3/4 ton 4x4.I’m waiting to hear back from Skyjacker support. Also the track bar they sent has a bend in it and the ones in the website picture are straight. I am not sure they sent me the right kit… The center hole length is 39 inches screwed all the way in and 39 1/2 inches when at the factory recommended maximum length (1/2 inch of thread showing past the jam nut). The instructions indicate you can cut up to 1/2 inch off the track bar if needed. I would try to get any more information directly from skyjacker. Good luck a half inch off of the track bar if it needs to be shorter.

Q: I installed this unit on a 2002 tj with a 2in lift and my bump steer is worse not better. It looks like a drop pitman arm will be require to get the steering arm back to parallel with the track bar. If this is correct what pitman part # should be used or do you have another fix? Answer this question
A: Hello DJ, A Jeep TJ Wrangler with a 2" lift does not require a drop pitman arm. Only when the lift is taller than 4" will it require one and that only depends on the suspension design. Sound to me like you either have a ball joint issue, bad unit bearing or not enough caster in the front axle. Id suggest checking all three prior to purchasing more parts. Thank you.
