These skid plates help protect various parts of your driveline, so you won't be left stranded off-road by an unfortunate experience. Skid plate is finished in semi gloss black powder coat. Features: 3/16 thick steel, prevents damage to the underside of engine, and bolt-on installation-attaches in 3 locations.

Easy to install
I have never installed a skid plate before. The instructions were easy to follow. The hardware is an exact fit. Did the bolt turn around on the suspension link. Installing the skid plate with all bolts hand tight, was actually easy. The plate was a little heavy (~48lb.) but I was able to put it in place by hand. I tightened all the hardware with 1/2" drive ratchet, extensions, and a couple of wrenches. I had to do a review because it fit better than any other aftermarket part I've ever installed. Clears the power train, exhaust, and oil pan very nicely. The engine oil drain plug ends up exactly in the center of the opening. Did the complete instal without help in an easy hour. This skid plate is truly a bolt in place without modification.

Bolted this skidrow gas skid under my 1990 xj. Smashed and bashed it and it with stands the abuse I put to it. Awesome product. Also have there motor and t case skids as well.

Good skid plate
What can I say? It's a skid plate. Right thickness. Easier to install with two people or a jack to hold the plate in place. Recommend install without front bumper on if you can.

Great Product
Great quality product! One complaint though, packaging sucked, lol! The shipping boxes were beat-the-hell up!! No worries though, they are skid plates and if they can make through UPS shipping them, they will be great on the trail!!

Well made skid plate
I have this skid on my YJ and traversed the Rubicon in 2014 with no problems. Heavy build and design is the same for the TJ skid here. Straight forward directions. Great unit to take abuse over rocky terrain with great protection!

A must have skid plate
This is the 2nd Skid Row skid plate that I purchased. The first one was supposedly list by a shop while work was bring done. Way better then factory

i think you can set whole jeep on skidplate and gastank would still be fine

A: The Toyota Oil Pan Skid Plate is much stronger than the flimsy factory "front skid plate" that originally covered the oil pan and provides real protection while providing easy access to your engine oil drain plug.

Q: Will this fit NP242 T-Case? Answer this question
A: It does fit a NP242 T-case. On the website it was listed as working on a ZJ and XJ. I have a 96 ZJ and the crossmember does not allow for a direct bolt up. According to Skid Row it will bolt on to the earlier ZJ's 93-95 no problem.

Q: Will this fit a 2011 JK with a stock bumper? Will the bumper be required to be removed are can it just be attached to it as it is still on the JK? Is there any drilling that needs to be done to add the Front Skid Plate to the stock bumper? Answer this question
A: Hi Chell, This Skid Row Off Road Front Skid Plate is a direct replacement for the OEM plastic plate. There is no drilling or modifications needed, the bumper does not need removed to install it. Thanks for your inquiry.

Q: I have a Smittybilt XRC front bumper that bolts to the crossmember between the frame rails as well. Will I be able to install this sway bar disonnect skid plate with the Smittybilt front bumper? More directly will I be able to have the lip of this armor under the bottom lip of the Smittybilt bumper to give a smoother transistion if I was to push over a rock? Answer this question
