Tore hole in boot. Saw these and decided to try them until new cv axle arrived. They went on ok but it was difficult while axle still on vehicle. Went on a few short rides and they seemed to hold up pretty good. I cant imagine they would be good to run all the time, but they are great for a semi-easy install if out on trail and blow a boot.

I had a camping trip coming up but knew I had a torn CV boot. I didn't have time to install the new boots so I picked up a pair of seal savers to protect it for the weekend. I don't know if the pair I got had been on the shelf for a while but the included zipties were very brittle and I broke 1 trying to install them. Another ziptie broke driving to the meet up point. I had a set of screw clamps for my new boots and just used those to hold them on instead of the zipties. I now keep a set of clamps and the Seal Savers in my glovebox for next time.
