A: Hello the earlier 2.5 had the 21 spline shafts when they switched transmissions they all ended up 23.

A: Yes this is going to require a cv style drive shaft. These will have a u-joint on each end of the shaft and will extend in the middle.

A: Hello That depends on how much list you have on the XJ. We would normally install the kit and measure for length. The other way is hold the new tail housing up to your transfer case with the yoke slid into it. Then measure from center of yoke to other yoke. The lifts very depending on if blocks or springs are used and location of the center pin in springs.

A: Hello Ethan The 1330 yoke is available in 32 spline but is not for a cv drive shaft. The cv shafts are done in 1310 only.

A: Hello Zach, Thank you for the question. Once you have installed the Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit in the transfer case you will also need a new rear CV drive shaft. The stock shaft will no longer work.

A: JW yes you will require a new rear drive shaft if you install the Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit on your 2001 Jeep XJ Cherokee. You will be converting from the factory style Slip yoke to a solid mounted double u-Joint or CV style at the top.
