Reduce or eliminate driveline vibration with a CV-equipped drive shaft. Constant Velocity (CV) joints use two U-joints (double cardan style) in the place of a single U-joint. This smoothes out the driveline angle and reduces vibration due to extreme lifts or driveline changes.

Q: I am replacing the U-joints in this cv drive shaft I purchased years ago from 4 wheel parts. Do you have a part # for the U-joints so that i might get them locally? Answer this question
A: Hello Jim It would use the Dana Spicer U-Joint part number D/S 5-153x on both ends according to the Rugged Ridge website. Thanks

Q: the add said direct bolt on with no mods, but the picture shows two yokes like i might have to change pinion yoke and transfer case yoke which means my pinion preload would change and i don't want to mess with that again, because pinion preload is set with no ring gear or seal. Answer this question
A: Hello Yes you do need to replace the yokes to get rid of the Rzeppa style cv's. The other way is to use the Rubicon Express rear drive shaft. Here is the Rubicon part number R/ERE1887-430
