Rugged Ridge Mirror Arms

I bought this to install passenger side mirror on my 69 CJ5. I had previously bought a complete mirror assembly but was not aware that you were to look at the mirror through the windshield, so I had re-bent the arm so as to be able to view it through the door window. This worked but not the best. I read a thread on jeep forum where someone else had done the same thing and then learned you are suppose to mount it where you look at it through the windshield. Anyway I hope this information will help someone else from making the same mistake since there are no instruction sent with the complete mirror assembly or the bracket and arm assembly. You will likely have to drill and tap holes to mount the bracket to windshield hinge unless your jeep already has a mirror on passenger side but basically just match location on drivers side.
