These Tie Rod Assemblies provide virtually 1-ton strength with factory tapered ends, so no modification is required. The tube is 1.25? OD SAE steel with .25? wall thickness. This is the perfect solution for preventing bent tie rod tubes from off roading with larger tires. Complete kits with dust shields, castle nuts, cotter pins, jamb nuts and zerk fittings.

A: Hi Soto The Rugged Ridge heavy duty tie rod kit will come with a bracket to fit a factory replacement steering stabilizer. if you are definitely go with the dual steering stabilizer you will need to make sure that the stabilizer klit comes with u bolts that will fit a 1 1/2 bar. Q: in the manufacturer description on the rugged ridge website, it specifies that this should not be used with a lift larger than 4". if i were to have approximately 4.25" on my 2001 jeep Cherokee, would i be able to solve this issue by using a dropped pittman arm? also, it said that this is not recommended for vehicles with less than 2" of lift, and as far as i can tell the only dropped pittman arms i can find are for a 3.5" lift or greater. essentially what i am asking is if i purchase this with a 4.25" lift on my jeep will it work, or will i need to correct things, and if so would a dropped pittman arm work for the correction? thanks Answer this question
A: Hi Wes The 1/4" of additional lift is not a concern its the 5-6" lifts were you run into problems with drag link to track bar angle issues and over all length of drag link bar problems. basically you start to run out of adjustment or un safe thread engagement. Thank ou.
